Kirsten has been involved in the sport of volleyball for nearly 10 years now, starting her career with the Waterloo Tigers and then transferring to the KW Predators in her 15U season. Lead by head coach Stephen Green, she saw much success as a starting middle blocker, finishing within the top five for three consecutive years and placing fourth at Nationals in her 17U year.

Kirsten also found success in high school volleyball at Resurrection Catholic Secondary School, winning the CWOSSA championships in her first year and winning Most Valuable Player in the D8 league in her senior year as an outside hitter.

After high school Kirsten played two years varsity at McGill University in Montreal before coming back home to Waterloo and taking on a roll as an assistant coach with the 13U KW Predators team. She was an assistant coach for two more years, helping the 14U and 15U girls teams before taking some time off to focus on grad school.

“Kirsten is everything that Ignite Volleyball represents.”, says Stephen Green. “She understands what it takes to work hard and win at a high level. She is also a tremendous role model for our young athletes.

Kirsten is currently pursuing a post-graduate diploma in Global Business Management to compliment of Bachelor of Arts, Honours Political Science degree.
