“He allowed me to make a difference in the program by putting me in the very heart of things, not at the periphery.  When a good leader does that, people feel centred and that gives their work meaning.”
Lee Maes, Assistant Coach at the University of Colorado when speaking of Nebraska Head Coach John Cook about his time at Nebraska as the Assistant Coach.

This is the quote that Ignite Volleyball lives by when thinking of their coaches; are they at the heart of things and does their work have meaning. This allows ignite to deliver the BEST program possible.

Here are some highlights of our vision:

  • All coaches, from any Club, that have athletes attending one of our Athlete Clinics, may attend to observe and ask questions (ensuring we do not take away from the athlete training).
  • When the Elite Teams begin in 2020, all coaches work with all our teams. How cool is it to have not just one or two coaches but many all learning from each other?
  • A minimum of monthly gatherings to talk about technique, tactics, team management, Club building.

Coaches and their development are jointly as important to Ignite as our athletes. This is our way of delivering the best program possible.
